About Oluodo
Oluodo
Oluodo is the the name of the river goddess inside Okun (sea) river in Odo-Ijesa, the State of Osun. She was named so by Agbogbonigbo, who got his healing from the water when his (Agbogbonigbo's) glued hands were washed in the river and were later separated by the efficacy of the river goddess. Events
Oluodo Festival
This day will witness the grand finale of the festival. Masquerades, chanters and musician will perform. The monarch will render a speech as well.
It is the night of the first day of the festival. During the night, all the appeasement will be done. The chiefs in the community will pay homage to the shrine of Oluodo. Also, fanfare will take place till dawn.
